1. (Hab. 1:13, Is. 59:1-2) (Eph. 2:3, 12) Then 2 Corinthians 5:1 comes on the scene!
2. (Matthew 3) at JC baptism we see what Christianity is all about. Christ didn’t hide.
1. In baptism we find God’s favor and in obedience are set apart. (2 Peter 2:9-10)

I.                   BAPTISM DOES PLANT US TOGETHER IN CHRIST, WITH CHRIST.

1. Romans 6:3-4, Galatians 3:26-28. New Birth emphasizes two things: 1). New man stops being who he was. 2). New Birth due to God exercising His power!
2. Baptized in Christ! No wonder God sees His son! No wonder have new identity

II.                KIND OF PERSON JUSES CHANGES IS ASTOUNDING! (2 Corinthians 5:17)

1. Ever seen extreme makeover? Woman in Samaria , Demon Possessed Man.
2. We say “look! He changed me! Set me free! Took turmoil and I am something new!”

III.             SO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE BAPTIZED INTO HIM?

1. Know you’re saved? Did anything happen to you? Are you different?
2. You were secure (John 10:27) ( John 2:25, 5:11) You were sealed: (Eph. 1:12-14, 4:30, 1 Cor. 1:22. 1 Cor. 3:16, 6:19) You were sanctified: 2 Cor. 5:20
3. Who you were doesn’t matter! You got a New Identity Now!
4. Baptism means we have our sins forgiven. Means we have been washed and cleansed. Means we are initiated into Family of God and royalty…part of His family
